According to the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development over 80% of organisations now use coaching. It is the fastest growing approach to personal development.

The founders of if-dev got together precisely because of their belief in the coaching process. Each was a leader in a successful organisation and had seen the lasting improvement in results that coaching had delivered.

So what is Coaching? People have different definitions. One of the earliest and, in our view, still the best definition comes from the sporting world..

“ Unlocking a person's potential to maximise their own performance ” Whitmore (1996)

… or a more detailed and academic description which does recognise that coaching is about results:-

“ A collaborative, solution-focused, results-oriented and systematic process in which the coach facilitates the enhancement of work performance, life experience, self-directed learning and personal growth of the coachee ” Grant (2000)

Our 1:1 coaching sessions can be used to tackle a personal development goal, boost confidence or improve work-life balance.
